Perhaps it is psychological, but the genuine USA made Les Paul appears to be a better instrument overall in quality than the Epi. Weight relief has it around 7.5 pounds. With a gorgeous AA maple top, this Studio Plus also blesses weary shoulders with an Ultra-modern weight-relieved body. Note: Estimate based on US sales prices for similar items on Reverb. I love it. It might not seem like much but it does make the guitar feel different while playing it, a difference in comfort which I personally prefer.
